July 12, 2002, Newsletter Issue #35: Listings: How to get your home noticed.---Online Listings-Descriptions

Tip of the Week

Online listing is a very good idea because it allows a potential buyer to look around in the comfort of their own home on their own time. Some basics to consider when you list your home is what do other listings look and sound like. Read and look at up to 20 listings from various listings web sites to see how homes are described. You can also see what not to do as well if you look at enough listings. A good description with all of your amenities and features is a very good idea. If there are any really special things about the home that you would like to include then please do. Most of all, remember you are trying to tantalize the potential buyer into wanting to know more about your property. Descriptive adjectives would be a great idea in this case.
