January 17, 2003, Newsletter Issue #60: Preparing your home for sale - Cleaning

Tip of the Week

Take the time to wash off any smudges, dirt, or handprints on your walls. Tidy up the rooms in your house as well as the yard eliminating clutter. Organize your closets and make them look neat and tidy. Touch up any chipped paint on windows, doors, woodwork, banisters, and walls. If it is necessary repaint your interior décor, this is especially true if your walls are extreme. Remember neutral colors are easiest on the eyes, and soften the look of any room.
